Filmmaker Bios

Bobby Miller (Writer/Director)

Bobby Miller is a 2009 graduate of Columbia University's MFA Film program. His previous work includes directing a stop motion commercial for VH1, writing for The Onion, and creating 2 Webby-Award winning variety shows for Next New Networks. His film “TUB” world premiered at Sundance and has went on to play Cannes, SXSW, and film festivals around the world. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is developing several feature films. / Twitter / Facebook

Kim Jackson (Producer)

Kim Jackson’s credits include Inside Man by Spike Lee, Munich by Steven Spielberg, Click, 5G, Young Americans, Pedal Foot, Children of God,, and TUB. She taught the Film Industry Course at Boston University, was Director of Education at Boston Film Video Foundation, worked with Disney/Touchstone Television in Business Development and as Director of Programs for Writers Boot Camp. She has been an integral player at film festivals such as the Hamptons International Film Festival, the Global Peace Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival. She is the founder and partner of Streetwise Pictures Entertainment.

Matthew Sanchez (Cinematographer)

Matthew Sanchez is a great guy and very accomplished. I'm going to get him to write a BIO soon. But, let me just say: he's the guy who shot the feature film "Happy Birthday Harris Malden" and the recent documentary, Gasland. (He also edited those things too.) Gasland is making it's world premiere at Sundance 2010. Oh, I also used a photo of him with deer antlers behind him. Nice.

Eric M. Levy (Lead Actor)

Eric M. Levy is a filmmaker and actor living in Los Angeles.  He played a lead role in, and also co-directed,  co-produced, and co-wrote his first feature film, Happy Birthday Harris Malden, which world premiered at the CineVegas Film Festival.  He encourages you to 'watch it now' on Hulu or Netflix.  Eric is currently working on his next feature effort.

Megan Raye Manzi (Lead Actress)

Megan Raye Manzi is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, where they knocked the New York accent right out of her. She's also trained with Atlantic Theatre Company and Upright Citizens Brigade. Her latest NYC credits include performances at the legendary Actors Studio, The Women's Project, and the Obie-award winning Flea Theater. Meg currently resides in Brooklyn with a rock star and their growing window sill garden.

Jeremy Selenfriend (Special FX Director)

After freelancing in the field for years, Jeremy jumped head first into the FX business by forming an LLC, and opening the doors to his shop. Since then, Jeremy and Monster in my Closet FX have tackled both big studio projects, and smaller independent films with equal passion for the craft.

Daisy Edwards (Art Director)

Born and raised in Australia, Daisy Edwards is an animator/filmmaker. Currently residing in New York she has produced five short films. Career highlights include working with renowned Australian actor Bud Tingwell and more recently, with Isabella Rossellini on the Sundance Channel series, Green Porno. As an art director, Daisy has worked on a variety of films, both feature and short. TUB is her most recent work and her first time working with director Bobby Miller.

Cheryl Gross (Baby Art Design)

Cherl Gross' work has been seen on A&E Television, Life Magazine, NBC TV, Paramount Pictures, Random House, Sony Classical Records...and the list goes on. She currently teaches at the Pratt Institute.
